O.N. BECK PROVES AN ABSORBING ACQUISITION FOR DRYING SPECIALIST SECOMAK

Process drying specialist Secomak has acquired O. N. Beck Ltd, a key innovator in process drying for the food and beverage industries.O. N. Beck's recently patented de-watering system uses sonic velocity compressed air in a specific way that atomises water from cans, bottles and jars. This prevents, for example, shrink-wrap covers from wrinkling because containers are still wet, or crown caps from rusting – both common reasons for rejection by customers.

This de-watering system complements perfectly Secomak’s existing range of air knives, air cannons, high velocity blowers and heat-shrinking equipment. The acquisition means Secomak now provides a one-stop-solution for all process drying-related problems.
