A3: No Secomak's air knives are specifically designed for use with lower pressure high velocity air supply for optimum Performance.

A4: Reduction of up to 90% can be achieved using Secomak drying systems.

Q5: What can be dried using your drying systems?
A5: Anything that is wet from a car to pea.

Q1: What is the maximum temperature the heaters can operate at?
A1: 300 degrees C.

Q2: Are the heaters compatible with Secomak fans?
A2: Yes

Q3: Can moist air be blown through the heaters?
A3: No as they are open elements.

Q4: Is there a minimum air flow requirement?
A4: Yes dependent on the size of heater approximately 50cfm.

Q5: Can you re-circulate air through the heaters?
A5: Yes all heaters can re-circulate hot air.

Q6: Are spare parts available for heaters?
A6: Yes heater elements.

Q7: What range of kilo watt ratings are your heaters?
A7: 3 to 36 KW.

Gas Boosters

Q1: What is the maximum pressure lift available?
A1: 80mbar

Q2: What is the maximum volume available through Secomak gas boosters?
A2:Up to 2100 cubic meters per hour

Q3: Is it better to run the booster continuously or switch it on and off?
A3: It is better to run continuously not cutting in and out with appliances such as burner thermostats. It can be switched Off during low demand periods
where pressure lift is not required.

Q4: Is the motor flameproof?
A4: No it does not require one but this can be provided if required.

Q5: What accessories are available for gas boosters?
A5: Flexible connections anti-vibration mounts flanges and non-return valves.

Q6: What is included in a Package Gas Booster?
A6: Pressure siwtches and controls necessary to complete installation under British gas guidelines (IM/16)

Q7: Are duty/standby control units available?
A7: Yes. We manufacture an auto change over unit for our package gas boosters

Q8: What is the noise levels are produced by the gas boosters?
A8:Up to 90 dB(A)

Q9: Do you supply acoustic covers?
A9: Yes we have a range suitable for every model of gas booster.

Q10: Do you supply spare parts for gas boosters? ;
A10: Yes we supply drive belts motors and bearing assemblies.

Shrink Systems & Solutions

Q1: Do you supply shrink sleeving?
A1: No. We only supply the heated tunnels.

Q2: Do you supply the applicators?
A2: No. We only supply the heated tunnels. But we can recommend companies that will supply you with a machine to apply the Sleeves.

Q3: Can you run trials on my product?
A3: Send us a sample of your product and a number of sleeves. We can run trials that represent your production environment in Our fully equipped demonstration facilities.

Q4: Can you shrink sleeves on to the tops of wine bottles?
A4: Yes we have a specifically designed machine for this application.

Latext Testing Machines

Q1: What is a latex machine?
A1: It is used for determination of mechanical stability of natural or synthetic latex to BS 6057 PART 3 Section 3.1 (ISO 35) And BS 6057 PART 3 SECTION 3.14 (ISO 2006)

Q2: What voltage are they available in?
A2: They are available in 110 or 230 v.

Q3: Do you supply spare parts?
A3: A full range of spare parts is available.

Q4: Is there any maintenance required?
A4: The brushes should be replaced when worn. The paddle should be cleaned regularly.

Fan Heaters

Q1: Do you supply the full range of Hanovia heaters?
A1: Yes.

Q2: Can I buy Hanovia products directly from Secomak.
A2: No but you can buy them from any electrical distributor (such as edmundsons wf and newey & eyre)

Q3: Can they be mounted over a door?
A3: Yes the turbo screen range is most suitable for this application.

Q4: Are they available in three phase supplies?
A4: Yes. They are available in single and three phases and all at 50Hz.

Q5: What is maximum power consumption?
A5: The range is from 1 KW to 9 KW.

Q6: How heavy are the heaters?
A6: They range from 4 Kg to 9 Kg.
