SPREADING PLASTER SOLUTION ON TO PLASTERBOARD

During the manufacture of plasterboard, a plaster solution is dropped onto a layer of cardboard and the top layer of cardboard is then positioned over the top. In order to achieve the correct dimension and appearance of the plasterboard, the layer of plaster has to be of an even thickness before the top layer is applied.

An air knife placed on top of the conveyor spreads the plaster solution to create an even thickness. The excess plaster solution can then be recycled and used again.
