Secomak has launched a new drying system, called Powerstrip. The system combines air knives and blowers with drip trays, enclosure panels and acoustic covers in a complete turnkey package.

Air knives deliver a continuous sheet of precisely controlled high-velocity air for stripping away moisture from bottles, jars and cans. To work successfully they need a consistent supply of air. Secomak has a range of blowers with performance curves optimised for air knife applications.

Secomak drying systems can reduce the cost of drying by up to 90 percent compared with thermal drying and compressed air systems. Turbo blowers have been shown to deliver up to 10 times as much air than compressed air systems with comparable motor powers.

Secomak Powerstrip drying systems are neat all-in-one systems that increase productivity and save energy. Running costs, maintenance costs and capital outlay are low, and the units quickly pay for themselves.

Secomak’s team of engineers will help end users to determine the optimum Powerstrip system required for each application.
